Safe Childhood
is every child's birthright

Help us safeguard the innocence of every child. Join our noble cause to prioritize the prevention of child sexual abuse. Protecting their dignity is not a choice but a fundamental necessity.

Our Significance

Through Tejo Barath’s ‘Safe India, Happy India’ initiative, we have been educating children about their rights and safety by visiting schools and orphanages and working relentlessly to prevent this widespread and reprehensible crime at its root instead of only punishing the culprits (if caught) after the victim has experienced trauma.

To make the future better for children, we have launched an app on Body safety, a First-of-its-kind game for children. We are blessed to have helped more than 30,000 children to date.

Tejobarath is the first NGO in Andhra Pradesh to be associated with Menstrupedia and distributed comic books on menstrual hygiene and organised campaign in several parts of South India and Assam. Under the initiation of 'Safe Periods Happy Periods, Tejobarth distributed free sanitary napkins to over 6,000 girls and women.

Tejobarath has organised several blood donation camps, breast cancer awareness camps, and free yoga camps and distributed essentials, notebooks, clothes, sustenance and cloth bags to over 100 of local vendors.

Tejobarath, in collaboration with Hershey's, brought a hundred thousand smiles to the faces of one lakh people by providing them with milk beverages.

Our Purpose

Safe India, Happy India.

Our organization is dedicated to spreading awareness and eradicating the issue of child sexual abuse in India. Through comprehensive education and empowering society, we aim to tackle this prevalent social evil at its core. Recognizing the urgency of the matter, we focus on preventing child sexual abuse proactively, rather than simply reacting to incidents after the child has already endured significant psychological, physical, and social trauma.

Vision 2030

“Eliminate Child Sexual Abuse by 2030”

Vision 2030 aims at enabling a safe and secure India by 2030 where every child enjoys a safe and happy childhood. Often the issue of child abuse is more reactive than preventive.

Body safety App📱

Introducing the Revolutionary App for Children's Body Safety

We are proud to present the world's first-of-its-kind app dedicated to teaching children about body safety. Aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 3 and 4, our interactive and educational game, developed by Tejobarath, aims to raise awareness about child sexual abuse in a sensitive and unbiased manner.

Under our visionary initiative, VISION 2030 SAFE INDIA HAPPY INDIA – "safe childhood is our birthright," the Body Safety game is designed to empower children with age-appropriate knowledge. This app follows the principles set forth by the United Nations in 2015, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3, which emphasizes good health and well-being, and Goal 4, focusing on quality education.

Safe Period, Happy Period🩸

Through our initiative, "Safe Period, Happy Period," Tejobarath is dedicated to raising awareness about menstrual hygiene among underprivileged girls in rural areas. As part of this program, we provide essential sanitary napkins to ensure their well-being. Join us in our mission to empower these girls and create a brighter future for them through better menstrual health.
